My Journey
Hi there! My name is Sahar Sarmani, I am a Lead Product & UX Designer with over 7 years of experience turning complex problems into purposeful product experiences. I partner with fast-moving startups and growth-stage teams to lead design from discovery to systems, with a sharp focus on usability, scalability, and strategic alignment.
Design Is My Strategy
My journey began at the intersection of design and technology, where curiosity turned into craft. I’ve worked across B2B, B2C, and internal product spaces, from building AI-powered tools to launching customer-facing marketplaces. No matter the domain, I bring systems thinking, team collaboration, and product vision to every engagement.
I don’t design screens. I design clarity, decision-making, and outcomes.
What Drives Me
I believe great product design is invisible. It makes complexity feel effortless. I’m drawn to early-stage 0→1 challenges, messy ambiguity, and high-leverage environments where design drives business value. Whether I’m scaling design systems or mapping out new flows, my focus is always the same: how can this experience empower real users to do real work?
The Meaning Behind Eclipse Design
“Eclipse” is more than my brand; it’s a reflection of my roots. In Hebrew, “Sahar” means moon. Eclipse Design is my way of blending the analytical with the intuitive, structure with emotion, creating experiences that feel inevitable once you use them. It’s a nod to both clarity and shadow, strategy and surprise, the balance that defines great product work.
My Design Process
From Conceptto Launch
Research
Every project starts with an in-depth research on it. I spend time researching the client’s business, target audience, and industry to better understand their needs and goals. The research provides the right and special elements for that project, which differentiates it from the business competitors.
Planning
Once I have a solid understanding of the client’s requirements, I create a detailed plan that outlines the project timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
Design & Development
After the design is approved, I begin the development phase, where I turn the design into a fully functional website or app.
Testing
Prior to launching the project, I conduct a thorough testing to guarantee its user-friendliness, responsiveness, and absence of bugs.
Launch
As soon as the testing is complete and the client is satisfied, I launch the project and provide ongoing support and maintenance as needed.
